  1. First Friday’s at the ICA Aug 5th

If you love art and culture check out the Institute of Contemporary Art down in the Seaport District. First Friday’s The ICA stays open late brings in a DJ, bar, and bar bites for a trendy evening out on the waterfront. The crowd often includes the after work and international art fashionistas. Admission $15 for non-members


  1. 14th Annual RSF Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival Aug 8th-13th

Run& Shoot Filmworks hosts a week filled with striking short films relating to history past and relations of the present. Featuring discussion with Spike Lee and Nate parker. Various admission cost $17-$23

NPHC is having a summer take over and will be hosting an after party at Darryle’s bar in the and kitchen in the South End 10pm- until   $10 with RSVP


  1. If you love the beach and you’re single! Aug 20th

Check out Wollaston Beach for Singles and Spades.

Gear up to meet local singles and beat the stereotype that black people don’t love the sun. There will be rounds of spades going as well as a few other games for those who are not spade savvy!

Litework’s has been providing the summer scene for young urban professionals since 2013! The Rooftop at revere hotel is an after work event that perfectly blends classy and chill. FREE ninety-nine
