SWBD is an annual informal meet-up. We pick a date and location, and just gather. Many people bring games/activities such as volleyball, limbo, spades, dominoes, etc. People also bring food and beverages to share.
As for a meeting spot, look for a large group of “us” on the beach.

RESIST(D)ANCE: UNDER CONSTRUCTION is calling all creative leaders, change makers, and body shakers to reclaim space and re-imagine a future where young people have an active role in shaping our cities.
A three-part immersive art experience; including an open creative forum for local artists and community leaders to engage in conversation and art making, a live performance featuring poetry, dance and live music, finishing the night with a dance party, highlighting the importance of social dance in black communities.
Revere Beach Sand Sculpting Festival
The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival has grown into one of the largest sand sculpting festivals in the country. Each year sculptors from all over the world come to compete for one of the largest grand prizes in the world. Sculptors work for four days creating masterpieces on the beach with nothing but sand and water. Every year the event features a People’s Choice competition where you get to vote for your favorite. Saturday features a special fireworks presentation!
